Show me another »Where can I get 2 single beds that fit together to become a double?
Two Singles 2ft 6" wide (750mm), that fit together. Any Ideas where, any websites.

Usually when two twin beds are put together, there is a strip to connect them. The beds then become a King size bed not a double.

- I would think you could buy some legos and then make the beds yourself. That would be awesome!! lol I'm a dork. I'm medicated right now. Sorry :)
- A lot of king size beds come in two halves which are joined in the centre by bolts, this is so each person can have a good nights sleep as there are two mattresses so you do not disturb each other, be care full though you can sometimes get lost down the middle.
- I did that to make a king size bed and what I did was buy a king size mattress pad, a thick one and then on top of it put a king size matress cover and voila!! you couldnt tell it was two singles pushed together and you couldnt feel the crack between the 2 beds. So it doesnt show that you have 2 frames put a king size dust ruffle over it.
- go get two custom ones made... or buy a double you can get really cheap gd quality ones for arund $100.00 ---$150.00
check the homless places or salvation army. Ask around,,, put an ad in the paper.. search ebay
suprising what shows up - My wife and I have been using that idea for years. We have two regular twin beds bumped up together with a wide headboard hooking them together.
The beds had a way of shifting to where the bottoms didn't line up. I cured that by bolting them solidly at the frames. The bed is as wide as it is long. My wife has no trouble finding sheets, and a beautiful bed cover which we remove each night before retiring.Source(s):
