Show me another »Would you buy handmade knotty-pine furniture from a swap meet?
I am a struggling furniture maker who is thinking about making some items from reclaimed pine (chest of drawers, occasional tables, curios, etc.). My prices would be low, say $250 for a corner china cabinet that was 28"W x 74"H x 18"D. Will I have success??

It would definitely have character. I feel sure that there are buyers for most any furniture. The best way to find out is to make a few test pieces and see how well they sell.
