What place usually sells the most inexpensive good quality king mattresses?

In my town they have "Mattress express" stores, that claim cheaper prices, there are furniture stores, and we have a PX (army store, kind of like Target, sells name brand stuff and serta mattresses). Where can I get a better deal on a plush king size mattress?

Mattress stores often have periodic mismatch set sales - ask your local store.

To know what you are buying, research details such as the number of springs, how/if they are wrapped, tied, and the different types of materials available. This information is likely available on mattress manufacturers websites or in Consumer Reports.

There are many "pretty" and plush looking mattresses available that are actually junk. A good mattress will last you years - a bad one will make you miserable too soon after you bring it home.
