Yes as long as they are both the same size, just about any frame should work. The flat square pieces of metal on the ends of the frame are where you attach the headboard and foot board. Usually if you purchase them together it comes with the foot board also, so it may be better to purchase them separately. Here is a frame that you can get from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PCS… Here is a headboard http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TSA… They also have other ones to choose from.

You can purchase Headboards with or without frames. Some frames, the less expensive ones. are metal...they also usually last longer than wooden ones. Metal frames are also usually adjustable. You just slip them into the slots on the bottom of the headboard. Also, if you're looking to save money, you can find metal bed frames many times in thrift stores for ten to twenty dollars...many people just use them without a headboard. I hope his helps.

Yes and no. Most standard frames will work with a bolt on headboard of the same size. However, there are several headboards out there that will only work with a hook on style frame, which can easily be found at any mattress/furniture store.

In most cases headboards and frames are sold together at the same place. Again, any furniture store or mattress store should have a variety of frames to pick from.

There are many many different kinds of bed frames available and they are sold in just as many different ways. Whether or not a frame comes with a headboard or a headboard and footboard depends on the company selling them. This article http://www.stlbeds.com/articles/2009/07/… How To Decide What Kind Of Bed Frame Is Needed goes into great detail. Costs depends on size and type.

You can find them in your local furniture or mattress store.
You can also search bed frame and geo locate it with a major city you live in or near.
